Tim’s Cascade Style Potato Chips began in 1986 in Auburn, Washington. The chip brand is named after it’s founder, Tim Kennedy, and the Cascade Mountains that traverse British
Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. The company is proud of their Washington roots and includes images of the Cascades on their bags, website, and social
media. Despite its beloved reputation, Tim’s packaging needed a refresh.
This project involved researching competition and understanding their target demographic. After assessing Tim's needs, I designed the packaging with gentle brush-like details that evoke Tim's artisan roots and mimic the curves of the Cascades.
